Hi, I’m Julia, the creative mind behind OceanRhyme.
I am drawn to baroque pearls and natural gemstones because no two are ever the same. Their organic shapes, natural surfaces, soft luster, color variations, and quiet irregularities give each piece its own character. I handcraft them into jewelry with the hope of creating designs that feel timeless, personal, and beautifully individual.
OceanRhyme was inspired by my life by the water in New England. One of my favorite things is taking long evening walks along the beach, watching the sky change color as night falls and listening to the rhythm of the ocean waves. That calm, flowing rhythm is where the name OceanRhyme was born.
To me, baroque pearls and natural gemstones are reminders that beauty does not have to be perfectly symmetrical, identical, or flawless. Like people, they carry their own story. Their curves, textures, colors, inclusions, and variations are not flaws to hide, but natural details that make them unique.
My purpose is to create pearl and gemstone jewelry that celebrates individuality, natural beauty, and thoughtful craftsmanship. I love combining pearls with gemstones to bring together softness, color, texture, and contrast in a way that feels organic and meaningful.
I also care deeply about keeping a thoughtful balance between quality, design, and price. My hope is that each piece finds the right wearer — someone who sees its character, connects with its beauty, and loves it as their own.
